Labor Party leaves negotiations until new elections and political prisoners to be priority
The Labor Party leaves the negotiations between the government and the opposition. Shalva Natelashvili, Labor Party leader, left the ongoing meeting mediated by the EU special envoy.
“I would like to state that the Labor Party abandons this negotiation format. Until the date of the new parliamentary elections, and the release of political prisoners is the first issue, and unlawfully arrested Nika Melia sits next to us,” Natelashvili said.
According to Natelashvili, a joint meeting of the government and opposition addresses the electoral and judicial reform.
