Kakha Kaladze: UNM infighting belongs to the past; as Mayor, I am fully focused on tackling Tbilisi’s citywide challenges
Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze has brushed aside the United National Movement (UNM) as a political relic. Speaking as head of the municipal administration, Kaladze stated that the opposition party’s internal feuds are irrelevant to his work.
Speaking to reporters on Monday, Kaladze stressed that his sole focus remains on addressing pressing infrastructure and municipal challenges across the capital.
“Who is fighting whom inside the United National Movement is completely irrelevant to me as Mayor of this city. They belong to the past. They are merely operatives of a degraded network of foreign agents,” Kaladze said.
“Tbilisi faces numerous challenges, and there is an immense amount of work to be done. Consequently, as Mayor, my attention is directed entirely towards solving these municipal issues,” the Mayor added.
