Italian PM - Europe left Italy alone during COVID-19 pandemic

Italian Prime Minister Guiseppe Conte said Europe left Italy alone during the Coronavirus.

In an interview with a German newspaper, Conte noted that even European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen admitted the fact and apologised which in Conte’s words was a nice gesture.

Italy has reported 178 972 active cases of COVID-19, 23 660 died from the virus and 47 005 recovered.
