We support changes that serve optimization of the governance in Georgia, – US Ambassador to Georgia Ian Kelly told reporters when commenting on the structural and staff changes planned and implemented in the Georgian government.

“Generally, we support the motive behind these changes. This is optimization of the governance. We are also looking forward to meeting with new ministers. Of course, we know them, but we are looking forward to cooperating with them and this cooperation will continue in the future”, – he said.

As a result of Structural and staff changes, the number of ministries reduced from 18 to 14 in Georgia.
