Minister of Health Ekaterine Tikaradze explained what does the aggressive coronavirus (COVID-19) testing mean. As the minister said, aggressive testing can reveal many cases at an early stage.
Tikaradze named Korea as a good example. She added that the government has been negotiating with Korea and China.
The minister expects Georgia will have the tests by the end of the week which will be used in the case of uncontrolled growth of the virus.
Georgian gov’t has confirmed four new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) bringing the total number of infected in the country to 38.
The updated data is available at the new webpage – www.stopcov.ge – launched by the Government of Georgia, which aims to inform the society of the situation in the country amid the novel virus outbreak in the world.
According to the webpage, 1130 are quarantined, while 81 are under hospital observation.
