Health Minister engages with Israeli Ambassador

Georgian Minister of IDPs, Labor, Health and Social Affairs Mikheil Sarjveladze met with the Ambassador of Israel to Georgia, Walid Abu Haya.

The Minister congratulated Walid Abu Haya on his appointment as Ambassador and wished him success in his future endeavours.

The Minister and Ambassador reviewed cooperation issues between Georgia and Israel in the healthcare sector, setting prospects for its further deepening. They focused on medical education, innovation technologies and sharing experience in the prevention of diseases.

Mikheil Sarjveladze extended his gratitude to the diplomat for the projects and initiatives implemented by the Israeli Embassy in Georgia to support the strengthening of the healthcare system.

The sides reconfirmed readiness to continue close cooperation in international formats.
