Hans Kluge on delivery of Covid-19 vaccines to Georgia

Hans Kluge, WHO Regional Director for Europe wrote about the delivery of the first batch of AstraZeneca’s Covid-19 vaccines to Georgia in Twitter.

According to Kluge, the Georgian government is committed not to leave anyone beyond United Health Care.

“Early today the first batch of Covax Covid-19 vaccines arrived in Tbilisi, Georgia. Georgian government is committed to leave no one behind UNC,” Kluge Tweeted.

The WHO Regional Director for Europe thanked Georgian Health Minister Ekaterine Tikaradze, the National Center for Diseases Control (NCDC), and partners EU Ambassador Carl Hartzell, UNICEF, Olivér Várhelyi, European Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement and Gavi, the Vaccines Alliance for support.
