The hosts of the 2025 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, which will take place in Georgia on December 13, are journalist Liza Tsikauri and pianist Davit Aladashvili.

Liza Tsikauri is a television presenter and journalist for the Georgian Public Broadcaster. She has been working in journalism since 2008, and has been hosting news programmes since 2014. Over the years, Liza has hosted numerous major national and international events, concerts, and television projects.

Davit Aladashvili is a pianist, recognised as a “sensitive virtuoso born for the stage”. He began playing the piano at the age of eleven. In addition to his concert career, Davit Aladashvili is a television presenter and currently hosts the programme “Ranina” on GPB First Channel.

Georgia is hosting Junior Eurovision for the second time. The contest was first held in Tbilisi in 2017.

Georgia is the most successful country in Junior Eurovision Song Contest history, having won the event four times: 2008 – Bzikebi, with the song “Bzz…”; 2011 – Candy, with the song “Candy Music”; 2016 – Mariam Mamadashvili, with the song “Mzeo” (Sun); 2024 – Andria Putkaradze, with the song “Dedas” (To Mother).

The 2025 Junior Eurovision Song Contest will feature performers aged 9 to 14 from across Europe and beyond. Each will present an original song celebrating youth, music, and diversity.

Participating in Europe’s biggest children’s music show will be: RTSH (Albania); AMPTV (Armenia); Ictimai (Azerbaijan); HRT (Croatia); CyBC (Cyprus); France Télévisions (France); Georgian Public Broadcaster (Georgia); TG4 (Ireland); Rai (Italy); PBS (Malta); RTCG (Montenegro); AVROTROS (Netherlands); MKRTV (North Macedonia); TVP (Poland); RTP (Portugal); SMRTV (San Marino); RTVE (Spain); Suspilne (Ukraine).

Three countries are returning to the contest in 2025. Montenegro last participated in 2015, whilst Croatia last took part in 2014. For the first time since 2021, Azerbaijan will also participate in the contest.

The Georgian Public Broadcaster has already unveiled the stage design for the 2025 Junior Eurovision Song Contest. The stage draws profound inspiration from Georgia’s rich cultural heritage. At its centre is a doli, a traditional Georgian folk percussion instrument. Around the central stage, sculptural forms are erected that are inspired by the country’s impressive mountain landscapes, fortresses, and towers scattered across Georgia’s terrain. Alongside the stage, the visual identity and slogan for the 2025 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, “Music Unites Us,” have also been unveiled.

The 2025 Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be held at the Tbilisi Olympic Palace at 20:00 local time on December 13. The Georgian Public Broadcaster, as the host organisation, will provide live coverage of the event.
