Gov't issues a new decree on quarantine measures in Bolnisi Municipality

The Government of Georgia has issued a new decree on quarantine measures in Bolnisi Municipality just a while ago.

From May 18, under a state of emergency, all types of traffic are prohibited in Bolnisi Municipality including entering/leaving the municipality.

According to the recent decree, economic activities will be suspended, including the supply/sale of any goods/products.

The suspension of the activities does not apply to the medical institutions, the sale of medical/pharmaceutical products, food/animal food, household chemical/cleaning products, veterinary drugs, pesticides and agrochemicals, seed/planting materials;

Earlier today, 15 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) confirmed in Bolnisi Municipality.

Among the new cases, seven cases are linked to the village of Mushevani, and eight more to the village of Geta.

A total of 137 cases of the novel virus recorded in Bolnisi Municipality as yet. Of those, 46 recovered and three died.
