Government approves qualification improvement state program for job seekers

The Georgian government approved the 2021 professional training and qualification improvement state program for job seekers, the State Employment Agency informs.

Georgian citizens aged above 16, except for students, and refugee status persons registered at the agency, are in the target group.

At least one-month long training is free for the beneficiaries of the program. It includes other services like an assistant or transport for persons with limited physical capabilities.

Priority also goes to the socially vulnerable persons, IDPs, former inmates, probationers, and victims of family violence or trafficking.

The internship provided by employers is one of the main components of the program. The government will pay beneficiaries a monthly 200-GEL scholarship.
