Georgia’s Mobile Public Service Hall awarded a Good Practice Certificate at the European Public Sector Awards

The “Mobile Public Service Hall” project, launched by Georgia’s Public Service Hall, has been awarded a Good Practice Certificate at the European Public Sector Awards (EPSA).

According to the Justice Ministry, the official presentation ceremony was held in Maastricht, Netherlands, as part of EPSA 2025–2026. Georgia’s Deputy Minister of Justice, Lana Morgoshia, alongside the Chairman of the Public Service Hall, Vakhtang Zhvania, and his deputy, Davit Vardosanidze, attended the ceremony.

The EPSA awards are organised by the European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA). Held biennially since 2009, the competition highlights innovative and effective practices implemented across the public sector.

For this 10th anniversary edition of the awards, 134 projects were submitted from across Europe. Following evaluations by an independent panel of international experts, the Mobile Public Service Hall project was recognised as an outstanding innovative practice. Evaluators placed particular emphasis on the project’s significant contribution to public sector reform and innovative development.

The Mobile Public Service Hall has expanded access to state services across Georgia on an unprecedented scale. Designed to deliver public services to citizens living in remote villages and high-mountain settlements far from administrative centres, the initiative enables residents to access more than 500 state services close to home.

The award of the Good Practice Certificate to the Mobile Public Service Hall represents recognition of the project at the European level and an international endorsement of its successful work. It marks another international accolade for the Ministry of Justice team, which created an innovative model aimed at increasing citizens’ access to public services and raising service quality.
