Georgia’s Foreign Minister holds introductory meeting with newly appointed Swiss Ambassador
Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Maka Botchorishvili held an introductory meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Swiss Confederation to Georgia, Fabienne Wassermann.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed key areas of cooperation between Georgia and Switzerland across both bilateral and multilateral formats. In this context, the parties focused on Switzerland’s OSCE Chairpersonship and the organisation’s role within the Geneva International Discussions.
The Minister thanked Switzerland for its steadfast support of Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as its vital role in fostering a peaceful conflict resolution.
According to the Foreign Ministry, Maka Botchorishvili wished Ambassador Wassermann every success in her upcoming diplomatic tenure.
