Irakli Kobakhidze, Georgian Prime Minister, met Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of the Republic of Turkiye.
The Georgian PM and President of Turkiye reviewed the Georgia-Turkiye strategic partnership, successful cooperation in various spheres and ongoing processes in the region.
“The meeting focused on the positive dynamics of trade and economic cooperation and the role of joint regional projects, including Baku-Tbilisi-Kars Railway, Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline, Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum gas pipeline and Southern Gas Corridor, their connectivity role in the region with Europe and as strengthening European energy security. The parties discussed the potential of the Middle Corridor and further cooperation in its development,” the Government Administration said.
Georgian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Botchorishvili attended the meeting.

Georgia values its longstanding strategic partnership with Türkiye and remains committed to advancing engagement across all areas of shared interest,” Irakli Kobakhidze wrote on the X Platform.
