Georgian PM meets Armenian Interior Minister

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze hosted Arpine Sargsyan, Armenia’s Minister of Internal Affairs, during an official visit to Georgia.

According to the Government Administration, discussions focused on close law enforcement cooperation between the two nations. The parties noted that the bilateral agreement on combating crime signed between the internal affairs ministries of Georgia and Armenia provides a solid foundation for further deepening the strategic partnership.

During the meeting, officials emphasised the success of joint operations conducted to combat drug trafficking and illegal migration. The parties also reaffirmed the broader importance of the strategic partnership between Georgia and Armenia and explored ways to expand bilateral ties across key sectors.
