Georgian judoka wins Zagreb Grand Prix 2021

Georgian judoka Tato Grigalashvili won the Zagreb Grand Prix 2021, which is being held in Zagreb, Croatia, from 24 to 26 September.

The Georgian sportsman, competing in the -81 kg weight category defeated his rival from Brazil in the finals.

Three Georgian judokas competed on September 25. Jumber Meladze (-73kg) was defeated against the Spanish rival, while Zaur Dvalashvili (-81) was overpowered in the very first round.

A total of 243 judokas, among them 143 men and 100 women, from 35 countries, participated in the tournament.
