Georgian FM meets Chinese Ambassador

Georgian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Botchorishvili engaged with Chinese Ambassador to Georgia Zhou Qian to discuss bilateral cooperation issues between Georgia and China.

According to the Foreign Ministry, the Minister and Ambassador highlighted the positive dynamics of relations within the Georgia-China strategic partnership and cooperation issues in economy, tourism, education and culture spheres.

They emphasized the significance of visa-free travel and direct flights, contributing to business relations and people-to-people contacts deepening.

The sides reviewed the issues related to Georgia’s participation in the 8th China International Import Expo in Shanghai.

Maka Botchorishvil and Zhou Qian spoke about ongoing processes in the region and the Middle Corridor development prospects, emphasizing the significance of peace and stability in the region.
