Georgian Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani held a phone talk with his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba on Monday.
According to the Georgian Foreign Ministry, during the conversation, Davit Zalkaliani reaffirmed Georgia’s unwavering support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and expressed its strong support amid the current difficult situation.
Zalkaliani stressed that Georgia and Ukraine face occupation-related challenges.
“The sides exchanged information on the ongoing processes, the current situation along the borders of Ukraine. They also talked about communication with high-level representatives of Ukraine and Georgia in parallel with the ongoing dialogue between the western partners and Russia. The Ministers agreed to continue high-level communications to exchange information on current processes and share stances,” the Ministry stated.
