Georgian Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani held a phone conversation with the British Minister for European Neighbourhood and the Americas, Wendy Morton, on Friday.
The telephone conversation touched upon various issues, including bilateral relations and coronavirus-related challenges.
Georgian MFA says the parties discussed deepening the specific areas set during the 7th round of the Wardrop Strategic Dialogue, held virtually on September 9.
British Minister claimed, “the UK is a close friend of Georgia and will support it to introduce reforms during a difficult time following the recent parliamentary elections.”
I spoke to the Georgian Foreign Minister to emphasize the need for all parties to reach a compromise, Morton tweeted.
