Georgia to receive EUR 23 million from Germany for Green Helium promotion
Georgia will receive EUR 23 million from Germany to promote Green Helium on the local market.
Georgian and German governments reached an agreement following 2-day negotiations in Berlin.
According to the German Embassy in Georgia, the parties agreed on a package of activities worth EUR 68 million for the next two years within the framework of Georgia-Germany cooperation expansion in the energy sector.
The allocated money will be used for the electrolysis plant, helium reservoir and wind electric plant construction.
Plans for the future include the water supply improvement in Batumi and the Adjara region and public transport adapting to renewable energy.
