Georgia reported 818 coronavirus cases, 783 recoveries, and 14 deaths on Saturday, the official figures show.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 465 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Adjara region with 75 cases, and the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region with 73 cases.
A total of 18 822 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 10 197 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 8 625 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 4,35 %, while 2,98% in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 295 358 among them,280 915 people recovered and 3 939 died. The number of vaccinated people is 29 184.
There are 310people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 2 982 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 439 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.
