Georgia reports 5 068 new coronavirus cases, 2 336 recoveries

Georgia has reported 5 068 new coronavirus cases, 2 336 recoveries, and 38 deaths in the past 24 hours, Berdia Sichinava, Deputy Head of the Task Force operating at Inter-Agency Coordination Council, stated at a briefing held at the Government Administration on Friday.

In total, Georgia’s confirmed coronavirus cases increased to 152 704, among them 126 904 recovered and 1 425 died.

There are 1 241 people  placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities and 51 262 people remain in self-isolation. Currently, 3 899 patients undergo treatment at COVID hotels, 6 671 people remain at hospitals, and 13 779 infected people manage their symptoms at home.
