Georgia reported 332 coronavirus cases, 343 recoveries, and 12 deaths on Friday, the official figures show.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 185 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 51 cases and the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region with 18 cases.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 1, 24 %, while 1,49 % in the past 14 days.
A total of 26 700 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 17 307 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 9 393 were PCR tests.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 274 377, among them, 267 764 people recovered and 3 634 died.
There are 245 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 1 310 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 130 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.
