Georgia reports 2 904 coronavirus cases, 4 316 recoveries, 53 deaths

Georgia reported 2 904 coronavirus cases, 4 316 recoveries and 53 deaths on Saturday, said Berdia Sichinava, Deputy Head of the Task Force of the Inter-Agency Coordination Council, at a press briefing at the Government Administration.

Georgian capital Tbilisi reported the highest number of 1 252 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 495 cases, and the Adjara region with 197 cases.

Georgia’s total case tally now stands at 206 907, among them 175 842 people recovered and 2 055 died.

There are 465 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 6 553 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 1 971 are being treated at Covid Hotels.
