Georgia reported 170 coronavirus cases, 396 recoveries, and ten deaths on Monday, the official figures show.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 82 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 22 cases, and the Guria region with 11 cases.
A total of 6 185 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 2 993 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 3 192 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 2,75 %, while 1,56 % in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 277 650, among them 270 369 people recovered and 3 710 died.
There are 204 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 1 460 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 173 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.
