Georgia reported 139 coronavirus cases, 129 recoveries, and 10 deaths on Tuesday, the official figures show.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 72 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 24 cases and the Shida Kartli region with 10 cases.
A total of 6 351tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 3 464 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 2 887 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 2.19 %, while 1.49% in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 273 137 among them 267 015 people recovered and 3 601 died.
There are 252 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 1 383 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 114 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.
