Georgia reported 1 857 coronavirus cases, 993 recoveries, and 24 deaths, Berdia Sichinava, the Inter-Agency Coordination Council representative announced on Tuesday.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 754 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 334 cases, and Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region with 158 cases, the official figures show.
Georgia’s total case tally now stands at 241 637, among them 227 208 people recovered and 2 820 died.
There are 514 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 3 879 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 22 823 people are in self-isolation.
