Georgia reported 1 026 coronavirus cases, 381 recoveries, and 12 deaths on Saturday, the official figures show.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 633 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 105 cases, and the Kakheti region with 81 cases.
A total of 33 002 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 15 024 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 17 978 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 3, 11 %, while 2, 79 % in the past 14 days. As of July 3, 267 727 people got the coronavirus vaccine.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 369 048, among them, 353 612 people recovered and 5 347 died.
There are 84 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 2 907 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 747 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.
