Nino Tsilosani, a Georgian Dream member, claims that “the Georgian opposition and radical activists are systematically financed by foreign funds from the European Union and the United States, and all attempts at revolution are supported by one or another foreign donor organisation.”

In her Facebook post, the GD MP stated, “It is time for the European Union to respect the sovereignty of other countries.”

“For over a year, we have openly declared our concern about external influence. We have been the target of political attacks since the introduction of the Transparency Law, which is now so important in the United States, but we have survived.

Today, extreme activists and anti-state political parties will hold a march to block the main Tbilisi roadway. This would be a crime in practically every country, including Georgia.

With the newly elected US president taking historic steps to review American funding, it is time for the European Union to respect the sovereignty of other countries,” Tsilosani wrote.
