GD to nominate mayoral candidate in Khobi

The ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party nominated Davit Bukia as mayoral candidate in Khobi, Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region.

Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili spoke about state institutions in his nomination address. He said deliberate struggle against the church, police, army was enmity of the country.

“Our ancestors brought our homeland with heroism, self-sacrifice and devotion, our nation endured thousands and millions of hardships. The people who fought thousand battles arrived to the present day and brought the land and water, the territory that we have, and most importantly – our faith, our institutions, the family institution and all the values, traditions that define our identity and distinguishes us from other nations,” PM said.
