Gakharia’s Sharashidze: Gakharia for Georgia to defeat GD through elections; real change comes through elections

“Our political force has decided to challenge the Georgian Dream by participating in the elections, because genuine political change can only be achieved through the democratic process,” stated Giorgi Sharashidze, a member of the political council of the Gakharia for Georgia party.

Sharashidze emphasised that meaningful change is worthy, especially when pursued through peaceful means.

“I have voted against injustice, violence, and corruption. At the same time, I have voted for peaceful change, a European future, and sensible, moderate politics and politicians. I envision a Tbilisi and Georgia free from corruption. Today, what matters most is that this process unfolds peacefully.

Our political force is committed to defeating the Georgian Dream through elections, because true political transformation should occur through democratic and peaceful means. Of course, there is a strong desire within society for substantial political change. However, these changes will only carry real value if they are implemented peacefully.

Therefore, I urge everyone to participate actively in the elections, as voting is both a right and a duty for every Georgian citizen, as enshrined in our Constitution. Voters must use their votes to foster progress, prosperity, and serious political change in this country,” Sharashidze concluded.
