Gakharia for Georgia’s Berdia Sichinava: Ongoing public discontent will inevitably transform into electoral protest in 2028

“The public discontent seen to date will inevitably transform into an electoral protest in 2028,” said Berdia Sichinava, a member of the Gakharia for Georgia party.

Sichinava was asked why the momentum of the street demonstrations had slowed and why large crowds were no longer taking to the streets.

“The public’s protest has not vanished; I can certainly assure you of that. Some people moved away from street demonstrations, and this entire movement took on a different form.

I am absolutely convinced that the protest that has existed until now will inevitably evolve into an electoral protest in 2028,” stated Berdia Sichinava.
