All Georgian citizens, who apply to the Embassy of Consulate of Georgia in Italy will be brought by an airplane from Rome, Italy, to Georgia. Aleksandre Ghvtisiashvili, Deputy Georgian Foreign Minister said that all employees of the Georgian Embassy in Italy were working in 24-hour regime.
A special e-mail is created for the Georgian citizens who have booked air-tickets but are unable to fly back to Georgia due to suspension of direct flights with Italy. They have to register at [email protected] and present copies of their passports and ticket booking confirmations.
According to Ghvtisiashvili, 95 persons have applied for the time being for help. “Be sure that the Georgian Embassy and Consulate in Italy will contact you and will provide your transportation. Don’t be nervous, the Georgian government will care for every Georgian citizen,” Ghvtisiashvili said.
