Foreign Ministry – Representatives of Georgia and Azerbaijan underlined that any provocation regarding Davit Gareja is unacceptable
Georgian Foreign Ministry released official information about the meeting that took place on May 14 in Baku, Azerbaijan, between Chairpersons of State Border Delimitation Commissions.
According to the Ministry, representatives of Georgia and Azerbaijan underlined that any provocation regarding Davit Gareja, a rock-hewn Georgian Orthodox monastery complex located in Kakheti region of Eastern Georgia, is unacceptable.
Foreign Ministry reports that the sides agreed to guide with strategic partnership spirit during the delimitation process and expressed readiness for upholding construction attitude in leading of negotiations.
