For Georgia’s Giga Parulava: SSSG leadership has changed four times in 18 months; this instability harms national interests

“As a professional operational officer, Tamaz Borashvili is superior to his predecessors,” stated MP Giga Parulava, a member of the Gakharia For Georgia party.

Regarding the State Security Service of Georgia (SSSG) itself, Parulava noted that, regretfully, the agency currently serves partisan interests rather than those of the nation and society.

“Over the past year and a half, the Head of the State Security Service has been replaced four times, which is detrimental to the country’s national interests,” Parulava noted.
