For Georgia party tags UNM as helping hand for GD

“It seems that every party has its oligarch. Some have a big one, others relatively smaller; this is a distressing reality,” said Mikheil Daushvili, a member of For Georgia party.

Mikheil Daushvili believes that the United National Movement (UNM) is an ally of the ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party and serves as a helping hand for the GD in retaining power both in Tbilisi and municipalities.

“Instead of being a real opposition, they are allies of the Georgian Dream. Their divisions inside the party are not relevant to us,” he said.
