FM Zalkaliani believes Armenian President's visit to move bilateral relation to new level
According to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, David Zalkaliani, the visit of the Armenian President to Georgia is an important event in bilateral relations. This visit is a good opportunity to discuss all the main directions of bilateral relations and the current situation in the region, Zalkaliani added.
“The visit took place at a very important time and, naturally, there is a very good opportunity to discuss all the main directions of bilateral relations, as well as the situation in the region. We will have the opportunity to discuss the dynamics of Georgian-Armenian relations in recent years and prospects. It is necessary to exchange views on the situation in the region and what needs to be done for long-term regional stability and development. I am sure our relations will move to a qualitatively new level after this visit,” Georgian FM said.
The President of the Republic of Armenia, Armen Sarkissian, arrived in the Georgian capital Tbilisi with an official visit on April 15.
