FM: Statements in support of Georgia to be our response to opponents
Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani spoke about Georgia’s foreign policy results in Moambe News Program of the Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB). He said Georgia was deemed as a successful aspirant country on NATO integration path.
According to Zalkaliani, the Eastern Partnership Summit was the main event of the year. He said it was not easy to persuade partners that amid geopolitical challenges, Covid pandemic and occupied territories, Georgia remains a successful country of the Associated Trio format.
Zalkaliani claimed that Georgia’s partner countries made statements in support of Georgia, regarding the de-occupation and the situation in the occupied territories.
“You know that the absolute majority of almost 57 delegations at the OSCE Ministerial spoke about Georgia in their speeches and very clear messages of support were made, and that was our response to the opponents who argue that Georgia has disappeared from the radars of the international community. These are our answers and facts, what a successful foreign policy we have,” Zalkaliani said.
