Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili met with the Minister of Digital Transformation of Japan, Taro Kano as part of his visit to Japan. Ilia Darchiashvili thanked Taro Kano for his support of Georgia.
According to the Georgian MFA, the Ministers exchanged information on the possibilities of cooperation in the field of digital technologies, in particular, towards the development of electronic services, especially taking into account the sharing of good practice and experience of Georgia in this field.
“The meeting focused on the reform of the governance system, which ensures compliance with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The sides, in particular, mentioned the steps taken by Georgia towards the direction of digital governance development were.
