First Lady Tamar Bagration visits inclusive education centre at Batumi Public School No. 26
The First Lady of Georgia, Tamar Bagration, accompanied by Sopio Bakuridze, wife of the Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, visited the Inclusive Education Centre based at Batumi Public School No. 26 on Monday.
According to an official press release from the Administration of the President of Georgia, the First Lady met with the facility staff and pupils with special educational needs (SEN). During her visit, she received a comprehensive briefing on the centre’s operational activities.
“The Inclusive Education Centre has been in operation since 2016. Its activities are fully integrated into the mainstream learning process, offering pupils active participation in educational and creative pursuits.
During the First Lady’s visit to Batumi, particular emphasis was placed on improving access to inclusive education, extending structured support for children with special educational needs, and fostering an environment that enables every child to fulfil their potential and participate fully in civic life,” the presidential administration stated.
