Finance Minister introduces new Head of Investigation Service

The Minister of Finance of Georgia, Lasha Khutsishvili, officially introduced Mikheil Maghlakelidze as the new head of the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance during a working meeting with the agency’s staff.

Khutsishvili congratulated Maghlakelidze on his appointment, highlighting his professional qualifications and extensive experience within the Investigation Service. The Minister expressed confidence that under Maghlakelidze’s leadership, the agency will continue to effectively carry out its state-mandated responsibilities.

He also thanked the former head of the agency, Irakli Beraia, for his service and wished him success in his new role as head of the Revenue Service.

In his remarks, Maghlakelidze expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister and the Minister of Finance for their trust. He reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to combating financial and economic crimes and supporting Georgia’s economic development.
