FDI in Georgia totalled $351.8 million in Q2 2022

Foreign direct investments (FDI) in Georgia amounted to USD 351.8 million in Q2 2022 (preliminary data), up 9.1% from the adjusted data of Q2 2021, Georgian National Statistics Office said on Thursday.

According to the data, equity was up 2.3 times in Q2 2022 from the previous year and amounted to USD 90.2 million. The share of reinvestment is 68.3% of total FDI.

Major foreign direct investor countries allocated as follows: United Kingdom 18.4% (USD 64.7 million), Netherlands 12.7% (USD 44.8 million) and Japan 11.9% (USD 41.8 million), the agency noted.
