EU Ambassador comments about evaluations regarding concern on current situation in Georgia
Some evaluations regarding concern about the current situation in the country come from Georgia’s friends and they should be accepted as so – Carl Hartzell, Ambassador of the European Union to Georgia said in commenting the letter of the U.S. Congressmen and Senators addressed to the Georgian Prime Minister.
Ambassador of the European Union to Georgia rejected going into details and evaluate any particular letter that the Georgian government recently received from the legislative authorities of Georgia’s strategic partner, U.S.
The U.S. Congressman Brian Babin wrote a letter to Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia on January 23 to add his voice “to increasing concerns regarding Georgia’s continued backsliding from democratic values and the associated deterioration of its economic prosperity.”
