European Commission spokesman Peter Stano said the European Union “fully supports” EU Ambassador to Georgia Carl Hartzell who did great job for EU-Georgia ties!”
In his tweet, Stano went on: “Delivery on reforms and EU agenda is task for domestic politicians. Blaming others for own unfulfilled ambitions only confirms the need to have more time to understand how EU works and that reforms are a homework.”

Ambassador Hartzell announced the end of his tenure on July 20.
After four unforgettable years in Georgia, the time has come for us to leave. Thanks for having invited us to be a part of Georgia. Georgia will always be a part of us. pic.twitter.com/gSP63LbKUe
