EC Spokesman: EU fully supports Carl Hartzell who did great job for EU-Georgia ties
European Commission spokesman Peter Stano said the European Union “fully supports” EU Ambassador to Georgia Carl Hartzell who did great job for EU-Georgia ties!”
In his tweet, Stano went on: “Delivery on reforms and EU agenda is task for domestic politicians. Blaming others for own unfulfilled ambitions only confirms the need to have more time to understand how EU works and that reforms are a homework.”

His remark came after the ruling Georgian Dream party Chair Irakli Kobakhidze said the EU Ambassador to Georgia Carl Hartzell “unfortunately played a strictly negative role in relations between the European Union and Georgia.”
Ambassador Hartzell announced the end of his tenure on July 20.
