Eight Georgian citizens arrested in Turkey on housebreaking charge

The Turkish police detained 8 Georgian citizens in suspicion of four housebreaking facts. They were arrested as a result of the special raid carried out simultaneously at several locations in Ankara city.

The cash money in the amount of 5 thousand Turkish Lira and other stolen items including cell-phones, jewellery and household facilities have been confiscated.

According to the investigation, Georgian citizens often changed their appearance and used fake passports.

The detained Georgian citizens face imprisonment with a term of 4 years. They are transferred to a penitentiary facility.
