Defence Forces deployed to assist residents affected by heavy snowfall
The Defence Forces have been deployed to assist the population affected by heavy snowfall in western Georgia, following an order by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, the Ministry of Defence reported.
Military personnel from the Western Command are already addressing the challenges caused by the snowfall, providing assistance with specialized equipment.
By order of the Minister of Defence, units and technical resources from the Western and Eastern Commands, Special Operations, Troop Logistics, and Training and Military Education Commands have been mobilized to support the emergency response.
