Composition of Ministers Cabinet has been officially submitted to the Parliament

Composition of Ministers Cabinet has been officially presented to the Parliament for   expression of the confidence.

According to document submitted to the Parliament, the list is as following:

Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development is nominated – Giorgi Cherkezishvili,

Minister of Foreign Affairs – Davit Zalkaliani,

Minister of Internal Affairs – Giorgi Gakharia,

Finance Minister – Nikoloz Gagua,

Minister of Education and Science – Mikheil Chkhenkeli,

Minister of Labor, Health and Social Affairs – David Sergeenko,

Minister of Internally Displaced Persons, Accommodation and Refugees – Sozar Subari,

Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture – Levan Davitashvili,

Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure – Maia Tskitishvili,

Minister of Culture and Sports – Mikheil Giorgadze,

Minister of Defense – Levan Izoria.

The Minister of Justice – Tea Tsulukiani,

Minister of Corrections and Legal Assistance – Kakha Kakhishvili,

State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality – Ketevan Tsikhelashvili.

As Prime Minister’s candidate Mamuka Bakhtadze stated the composition of the government will be reshuffled after structural changes. Changes will refer to six ministries.  According to him, within the framework of structural reform, the number of ministries will be reduced from 14 to 11.

Georgian parliamentary majority nominated Mamuka Bakhtadze as the candidate for the Prime Minister of Georgia. Bakhtadze said that he will appear before the parliament with his vision based on four principles.
