Colonel Zakir Hasanov: Azerbaijan–Georgia–Turkey trilateral security pact is a vital platform for regional stability
“The Azerbaijan–Georgia–Turkey trilateral cooperation framework serves as an indispensable platform for regional stability, security, and development,” Azerbaijani Defence Minister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov declared following high-level talks with his Georgian and Turkish counterparts in Shusha.
Underlining the successful trajectory of defence cooperation among the three nations, Colonel General Hasanov noted that close inter-state coordination and operational harmony have become paramount against a backdrop of escalating geopolitical tensions worldwide.
“We are highly satisfied with the dynamic momentum of our cooperation and intend to further expand and deepen these ties through joint efforts,” the Azerbaijani Defence Minister stated.
At the 13th Azerbaijan–Turkey–Georgia Trilateral Defence Ministerial in Shusha, the three defence chiefs exchanged views on strategic prospects for bilateral and trilateral partnership, reviewed joint progress, and discussed ongoing politico-military developments and regional security challenges across the South Caucasus.
