Civil activists held protest in Variani demanding Giorgi Gakharia's resignation

In Variani, near the Iakob Gogebashvili’s House Museum, where the government was holding an event in connection with the return of Iakob Gogebashvili’s Deda Ena to schools,  a protest rally was held.

The event was attended by the Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze and Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Mikheil Batiashvili and other guests.

The protest was organized by the civil activists of the movement “It’s a shame!”. Participants of the rally expressed protested against the June 20-21 developments and demanded the resignation of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Giorgi Gakharia.
