Georgian Ambassador to United States holds strategic talks with Republican Congressmen Warren Davidson and Brian Babin
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the United States, Tamar Taliashvili, has held a series of meetings with Republican Congressmen Warren Davidson and Brian Babin; the Georgian Embassy in the United States has announced.
Congressman Davidson serves as the Chairman of the House Subcommittee on National Security and is a member of both the Foreign Affairs and Financial Services Committees. Congressman Babin serves as Chairman of the House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology.
According to the Georgian Embassy, the discussions focused heavily on the prospects of strengthening bilateral relations between the United States and Georgia.
“The discussions also touched upon ongoing geopolitical and economic developments both regionally and internationally. In this context, the vital importance of the Middle Corridor project and Georgia’s pivotal role within it were highlighted. Tamar Taliashvili expressed her sincere gratitude for Congress’s unwavering support for Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty,” the Embassy’s statement read.
