Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro lit up as a doctor

The Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro was lit up as a doctor to pay tribute to all the medical workers who are battling coronavirus.

Messages of thanks in various language, as well as the slogan “Fique Em Casa” (Stay at Home), was projected onto the statue.

Currently, more than 22,000 people are infected with coronavirus in Brazil. 1223 people died.
